Fault finding and engine code translation

If you have the engine check light or engine management light showing on your dash, I can access your cars ECU and determine the problem. If your car is not running quite as it should, I can retrieve any fault codes that may have been saved, to help you to determine the problem.

I can save the fault codes and e-mail them to you with information on how to rectify the problem based on the codes and their descriptions.

It is often preferable to carry out small amounts of work yourself and with this service, I can often help to determine and rectify the problem before it gets as far as an expensive garage visit.

Engine data measurement with BHP and torque print outs

If there are no fault codes stored on the Engine Control Unit, it is possible for me to measure live data from all of the sensors in the engine bay (Typically, Turbo Boost, 02 Sensors, Timing and Air Flow) to help to determine the problem.

This data, along with Air/Fuel Mixture, can be used to create data logs and graphical representations of your car's current performance. This data can then be emailed to you.

Power curves showing BHP and torque can be created from your car's live measurement data.

Convenience controller settings

Controllers for options such as controller acceptance, alarm tones, Sat-Nav set up, audio set up and central locking settings can all be changed to suit your preference.
